Frequently asked questions
What types of content can I use?
Text transcripts (paste directly), or YouTube URLs (we pull the transcript automatically). If a YouTube video has captions disabled, we give you the option to paste the transcript manually instead.
What does the output look like?
A structured Markdown tutorial: H1 title, short intro, prerequisites section, numbered step-by-step instructions organized under H2 headers, and a "What you learned" summary. Clean enough to publish immediately, editable in any text editor.
What if the output isn't good? Do I lose a credit?
Credits are only deducted when a tutorial is successfully generated. If generation fails for any reason — API error, empty transcript, processing timeout — your credit is refunded automatically. If you feel a successful generation produced unusable output on content that should have worked, contact us.
Who can see my transcripts?
Nobody but you. Your transcripts and generated tutorials are stored under your account, are not used for AI training, and are not shared with third parties. You can permanently delete any tutorial from your account at any time.
Can I cancel Pro?
Yes, cancel anytime. Your Pro access continues through the end of the billing period you've already paid for.
Do credit packs expire?
No. Credits purchased in any pack never expire. Buy them when it makes sense for your project.
